High Pitched Ultrasonic Bird Control Devices

As far as my knowledge is concerned, high pitch emissions called ultrasound are produced by electronic devices known as ultrasonic bird control scarers. Since ultrasound is too high-pitched for human hearing but falls within the hearing range of most birds species, ultrasonic bird control scarers have been introduced into the pest control market. If used in an area of human habitation, most ultrasonic bird control scarers produce a resonance which is highly audible to the human ear and may cause disturbance. Without causing human interference ultrasonic bird control systems are widely used in varieties of location for areas where noise-related scaring is not an option, thereby making them an ideal choice. Where women and young children are concerned, the exception to this rule may be. For hearing ultrasound, with age, the human ear looses hearing ability, but in some women, especially the young, within hearing ranges, ultrasound falls and is liable of causing headaches and discomforts within the ranges of hearing. When used for controlling pigeons and gulls in urban areas and on sites that are industrial, this may have restricting use effect of ultrasonic bird control scarers. Including a variety of combo units combining ultrasound with other techniques that are scary are: ultrasonic bird control devices combined with sonic sound, strobe lights, distress calls and predator calls. There must be an understanding that all the above mentioned sounds create noise which is highly audible to the human ear and may be the reason for nuisance considerable to those within the range of hearing, whichever unit is chosen.
